About this blog?

Wrote for the English blog, was a curios experience, I need to admit that I hate had to do a  count in blog page  for this, because this will never disappear from the internet, but is a good form to use the internet. About contents of the blog,  in my opinion,    sometimes , the thematic was  so  classics , probably that’s no bad, but sometimes becomes boring write about the  same thematic.  Apart of that, was interesting write, and  was a curios form to  learn about my classmates , her o his  likes or dislikes. But I thing is a good  idea include more actual topics, or maybe talk about travels, because exist so much beautiful places in the word, even in Chile  exist places that are unknown to the travelers , or on the oppose cite places  that have reputation like tourist sites. A example of that is the moon valley , the flowery desert among others. Other topic that is so interesting to write about is about animals, but strange animals, something like  the water bear or the immortal jellyfish, that in my opinion are like a mystery of the nature. Well  meditating about the blog I can’t forgot that obviously is a  university activity, and it’s not necessary be funny to do, or something like that 

My favorite subject?

This semester, like I suppose you know, was my third one, in this one like in the previous I had 5 subjects, this 5 subjects are different   to the subjet that already  had the last year. Choose a favorite subject between the 5 that I had this semester, it is not difficult, in fact it is quite simple, because although all are interesting their point of  view  that they show us is so different, in despite is the same carrier.

Diagnostic was my favorite subject the past semester, the real name of this subject is "scientific and clinical bases for the diagnostic" but we call it diagnostic or more simple Dx. In this subject teachers taught us, about the way that the body works, for example the way that our heart carried the blood, or the way that the immune react against a virus. Why I like this subject? Well   I like it  Because  in this subject, we learn a lot about the reason that exist if you look back a sing or a symptom.  The teachers teach us all that with presentations and seminars, using that to convert, this difficult matter in so much simple.

a person that I admire?

Is a difficult question to  answer, because when  I look around  me,  I see all me teachers  and  how  cool in their  field they are, but of course I actually  only speak with a few  teachers, today I’ll talk about one of this teachers, his name is Mario Diaz, he is a doctor in engineering science with mention in materials, he applicate his mentions in odontology investigations, creating for example “blueremin”. “blueremin” is a liquid that stop the advance of a caries. But I admire him not only for this reason, last year I have chemistry class with him, and I like the way that  he explain us the contents, for example one day to teach us the way that hydroxyapatite resist  the  force, he said is like the  noodles, you only can break a handful of noodles if you apply a transversal force, you never will break it if you apply that force in the front of that handful of noodles.  Until today I remember his class,  I think Iearn  so much with his examples and I enjoy this learning  although  chemistry was not my better subject.

Favorite series?

When someone ask me about my favorite series  automatically I fotgot all series that  I have been see in my life, because although I don’t  watch Tv  I follow so much series in the internet, not only  American’s series, even anime series, so choose my favorite one is impossible. But one of the anime series that I like, the name of this series is “Noragami”, I like this series because make me laugh and at the same time is so  good animated. The story of “Noragami” is about a Japanese god and his meting with a normal girl, that  died  trying to save him from a bus.   “Noragami”  like most of  series that  I follow have a lot of comedy, with some fantasy  and a few of romance, I enjoy that king of series specially  if the characters  have a good design. A serie that y haven’t seen but  I would like to? Breaking bad because my friends tell me that is a good story,  and reproaching me  whenever  we talk about Tv show.

a funy story

The past summer my best friend and I went in a  trip  to the north of the contry, it was  a  long trip with a lot time  in buses. If you have already  been traveling  for a lot of  hours  in a bus, you'll know that is a torture after the second hour, is to boring if you have nothing to do, and this  photograph  is the proof. It was taken after wait the  bus for more or less two hours, because its come late, so when it arrive, we had nothing best to do that take picture each other, and made this comic or mosaic. The idea of the Zuko come because when we made the juice the smell was so delicious, so Zuko was like our drug and we did this comic trafficing  juice. Beside we  were laughing a lot, like if we were consumed some narcotic or something like that, why we were laughing? well, one of the reason was that we run across  all Antofagasta believing that were late, but when we arrived the bus still  didn't arrived. I like this photo because reflex the good time that we passed that summer, all that we laughed dispite the exahusting that the trip was, and because was our first trip together .

Pets?

Nowadays pets are a important part of our live, they  give  company to us like a loyal partner,  if I have any pet?, well, now I have a dog, She is more or less one year old,  and her name is Haru that's mean spring  in japanese,  I choose  her name with  my cousin's help, our inspiration was a movie "Haru in the cat's kindom" because at the moment that we adopted, we have two cat's. Although I have a dog, I prefer cats, why? because they are more peaceful than dogs, until now is difficult to me arrive to my  home without  be atack by Haru. Over my entire life I had a lots of differents pets and my favorite one always was the cat, but  I would like to have a fox like my pet, they see like the perfect combination between cats and dogs, probably  these dream will never became true but I don't  lose anything dreaming. 
A fox is without dude a exotic pet, at least at this country, and,  can be contradictory but I don't like the people that have some exotic pets, I mean a  exotic animal  like a endangered species.

My favourite piece of technology?

If I had to choose my favourite piece of technology I would certainly choose my cell phone, nowadays it is undeniable that all have developed a dependency for them, because in the past mobile phones worked only as a means of communication, but now they fulfill more and more functions, We can play online games, post on our social networks, or take great pictures, while they more develop they have more control over our lives. I had my first cell phone when I was about 13 years old, and the present one  maybe a couple of months ago because I lost the last one, at the moment that I lost it  I realized that  I needed it, not only to listen to music or distract me,  because I needed to  get in contact with my classmates, my family and that I use it from the time that I wake up until I go to sleep,  and it is true, I like it for its  functions and Its portable size, but I hate the way how I depend of them, imagine if mobiles phones  disappear the way of communication will change radically, maybe for bad or perhaps  for good after all probably without cell phones we would recuperate a little part of our  humanity.

How did I choose this career?

Each children dream with some spectacular job, maybe like be an spy or an explorer, but   I didn’t want to be not one of that,  not for real,   I wanted  some more classic career?, No, actually I liked  a lots  of thing, but I didn’t love nothing, I  never choose none. Maybe the most close to a job choose was when, after reading year by year fantastic stories I thought: “ maybe I can be a writer”, because that thought , now I  have  a few of short story  wrote by me.  However, the time past, and I discover that writing is not for me, and I become closer for the science area, until the day  that  PSU score was  reveal I didn’t have an idea of my choice, but  I searched  in internet  an selected  a health  care career, in this way I started to studied odontology,  the first option in the list  I made  , (the second one was something related to chemistry), I didn’t really know a lot  about in the beginning, but   in this time,  I discover  that  I like  the odontology, although I suffer with tests.  In the future, I want use my knowledge to help people with their heath, maybe I’ll have my own dental clinic.

Blog Session 1: "My Autobiography"

First that anything, welcome to Across The Oceans, My blog. But who am I?

To start I'll introduce my self. My name is Isabella  Chacana, I'm 19 years old, I don't have brothers or sisters, I only live with my grandma, but we don't feel lonely because my aunt and my cousin are our neighbors, although I can't visit them all days because I don't have such more time  with the university, by the way I'm studying odontology in the universdad the Chile, after studied in a lot of schools in a couple of cities, because in spite of I born in Antogafasta I wasn’t live there  all most than a year, and then my family and I move away to Concepcion for another couple of years.

What more can I tell you about me?

I love cats, my favorite book are the count of Montecristo, and  I waste my  free time watching anime or reading manga .  <3
